As a Customer Service Officer, you will provide outstanding support to clients from the point of sale through to construction commencement. Working closely with internal departments, you will ensure customers are kept informed, documentation is managed efficiently, and projects progress smoothly through the preconstruction process.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the preconstruction phase
- Provide regular updates on approvals, documentation, and project milestones
- Coordinate contracts, variations, and supporting documentation
- Liaise with internal teams including sales, drafting, estimating, and approvals
- Assist clients with enquiries and provide timely resolutions
- Monitor project progress and ensure all required documentation is received and processed
- Maintain accurate records and customer information within internal systems
- Deliver a high level of customer service and support throughout the home-building process
- Previous experience in customer service, administration, or preconstruction within residential building
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional and customer-focused approach
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or construction management systems
