Public Sector People are partnering with a Regional Council to recruit a Customer Service Officer
for a temporary contract through to 30 September 2025, with the potential for extension.

Key Details
- Location: Emerald, QLD (must be local to the area)
- Contract Length: Up Until 30/09/2025
- Pay Rate:$48.20 – $51.35 per hour + Super
- Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday (no weekends)
- Start Date: ASAP (Interviews to be conducted immediately)
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound customer enquiries with professionalism and accuracy
- Process service requests and applications across council systems
- Manage financial transactions and maintain accurate records
- Navigate multiple systems confidently to resolve enquiries
- Support continual service delivery improvement initiatives
- Previous Government experience highly regarded (Local, State or Federal)
- Strong ability to navigate systems and manage high volumes of work
- Proven customer service skills, with strong written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail and accuracy in a process-driven environment
- Must reside locally in or near Emerald, QLD
