Design & Build is working with a QLD based developer builder to fill a Defects Foreman role on a 3 + month contract. The successful applicant will work on a luxury apartment project based on the Gold Coast.
Our client is looking for a motivated foreman to join their well established team to address all DLP issues as well as any other post completion building issues. In between this, the role will report into live projects and assist, particularly around the back end of project completions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- All facets of Quality Assurance, including defect identification
- Project timeline management
- Scheduling and management of subcontractors
- Professional and well communicated management of the established team
- Ability to read and interpret plans
- Understanding and adhering to OHS and Building standards
- Daily site reporting Project Team
Requirements
- Recent experience working on high end residential or commercial build projects $20mill +
- Ability to plan, manage and sequence subcontractors
- High level attention to detail
- Will have worked as a Foreman on several apartment projects
- QBCC license is an advantage
- Competitive Hourly Rate.
- Able to contract through ABN or PAYG.
- Temp to Perm Opportunity for the right candidate.
