In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out pre-handover quality inspections, identifying building defects, and coordinating rectification works in line with company standards and construction timelines.
You will also manage incoming warranty and service requests from homeowners, ensuring defects are accurately assessed, prioritised, scheduled, and resolved in a timely and professional manner.
This position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently in the field while representing the company to clients and stakeholders at a high standard.
A bulk of the work is based in Dubbo, with some travel required to wider regions including Forbes, Parkes, Orange and Bathurst.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-handover quality inspections across residential builds
- Identify defects and document findings with clear notes and photos
- Coordinate and schedule warranty and rectification works with trades and suppliers
- Liaise with clients and homeowners to provide updates and manage expectations
- Ensure all works are completed in line with builder quality standards and policies
- Maintain accurate records of service requests, inspections, and completed works
- Assist with minor on-site adjustments or touch-ups where required
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and within agreed timeframes
- Experience in residential construction, maintenance, site supervision or building services
- Strong understanding of residential building methods and finishes
- Ability to identify building defects and quality issues
- Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently and manage your own schedule
- Trade background or building exposure highly regarded (but not essential)
- Experience in warranty, service or post-construction roles
- Exposure to residential home builders or construction environments
- Basic hands-on repair capability (patching, adjustments, minor fixes)
