Key Responsibilities
- Managing residential design workflows from concept through to construction documentation
- Leading and mentoring a team of designers/drafters
- Ensuring documentation meets regulatory requirements and local council standards
- Reviewing plans, specifications and variations for accuracy and compliance
- Managing design timelines, workload planning and delivery targets
- Working closely with sales, estimating, construction and client-facing teams
- Driving efficiencies and continuous improvement across design processes
- Proven experience in a Design Manager role within residential construction
- Strong knowledge of WA residential building regulations and compliance
- Leadership experience managing a drafting/design team
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience using ArchiCAD
- Salary up to $125,000 + Super(depending on experience)
