Design & Build have partnered with an Australian company established and working on energy transmission and distribution projects nationally, supporting the integration renewable energy such as wind and solar power generation through providing grid stability and energy storage.
Due to growth our client is seeking a Design Manager
to join the team, reporting directly to the Managing Director.
As the Design Manager
you will support the execution of various High Voltage projects around Australia.
Salary & Perks:
- $150-180k + Super (guideline, flexible for the right candidate)

- Work with a growing company (double in sized in last 12 months, on track to double again) within the Renewable Energy Sector.
- Senior role, reporting to the MD, with real ability to influence
- Optimise both technical and commercial solutions for HV projects in the energy sector
- Oversee projects at all phases (start-up, design, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, completion)
- Develop and manage relationships with suppliers such as design partners and subcontractors
- Support contract management.
- Manage relationships with client and customers to provide first class relationships.
- Degree qualified, ideally in electrical engineering
- Experienced in the design of HV substations (33kv and upwards)
- Hands on, used to working in small teams, able to adapt to client requirements
- Strong personal values and a team player
