Design Manager
An opportunity has emerged for an experienced Design Manager to join a highly regarded, design-led property group delivering some of South East Queensland’s most distinctive projects.
This privately owned developer-builder has built a strong reputation for creating high-end, architecturally driven homes and multi-residential developments across Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
The Role
Reporting into the senior development leadership team, you will take ownership of the design management process across multiple luxury multi residential and mixed-use projects. You will play a critical role in shaping outcomes from early concept through to delivery, ensuring design intent is realised without compromise.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the design process from feasibility through to construction documentation
- Coordinate external consultants including architects, interior designers, and engineers
- Drive design excellence while balancing budget, programme, and buildability
- Collaborate closely with development and construction teams to ensure seamless project delivery
- Review and manage design documentation to ensure quality, compliance, and consistency
- Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement across projects
- Proven experience in a Design Manager role
- Strong background in multi-residential or high-end residential projects
- Exceptional design sensibility with a strong understanding of construction methodology
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and influence outcomes
- Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality, design-led projects
