The Role:
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer to join the team, initially based at our clients office north of the river to get up to speed with the business and its way of working before moving into live site based projects.
Once onboarded, you'll take the lead on road construction projects across the South West and Wheatbelt regions of WA, including Main Roads WA and CBH intersection works.
This is a hands on, site based position suited to someone who can step in with minimal training and start delivering from day one.
The role is open to discussion to operate on either a 10:4 or 2:1 roster, with accommodation and daily meal allowance provided.
About You:
- Proven experience delivering road construction projects
- Confident managing site delivery, crews, plant and subcontractors
- Capable of leading and mentoring junior engineers
- Strong focus on safety, quality and efficient outcomes
- Practical, approachable and fair but firm in your leadership style
- Demonstrated experience in road construction and civil infrastructure projects
- Strong site management skills across labour, plant and subcontractors
- Ability to lead teams and drive safe, efficient project delivery
- Comfortable working on a 10 days on, 4 days off or 14 days on, 7 days off travel roster across the South West and Wheatbelt
- Practical problem solving skills with a hands on, can do approach
