They deliver a range of projects including knockdown rebuilds, duplexes, and single and double-storey homes, with exposure to medium-density developments. This role will play a key part in ensuring quality, consistency and timely delivery across both pre-construction and construction stages.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of residential drafters
- Oversee the full drafting lifecycle from concept through to construction documentation
- Ensure all drawings comply with NCC/BCA, council requirements and developer guidelines
- Manage workflow across tenders, contracts, approvals (DA/CDC) and construction
- Improve drafting processes, systems and documentation standards
- Liaise with internal teams including Sales, Estimating, Pre-Construction and Site teams
- Proven experience in residential drafting
- Strong understanding of DA/CDC processes, contracts and construction documentation
- Previous experience leading or mentoring a drafting team
- Solid understanding of Australian building codes and planning controls
- Solid Revit experience
