The Role
As a Draftsperson, you will be responsible for producing accurate and compliant construction drawings from concept through to final approval. You’ll work closely with our design, sales, and construction teams to bring our clients’ visions to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality working drawings for council and construction approval
- Modify and update plans in line with client variations and building regulations
- Liaise with internal departments, consultants, and certifiers to ensure timely approvals
- Maintain accurate documentation and drawing registers
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and local authority requirements
- Proven experience in residential drafting (preferably in Queensland)
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD (preferred) or similar CAD software
- Solid understanding of local building codes and regulations (NCC/BCA)
- High attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Relevant qualifications in Drafting or Building Design
