3-Month Contract | ASAP Start | South-West Council Location
We are currently seeking a highly organised and proactive EA Support Officer
to join a dedicated team within a local council in Melbourne’s south-west. In this busy and rewarding role, you will provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Director, Sustainable Communities, ensuring the smooth operation of daily priorities and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive executive support including meeting coordination, diary management, and briefing preparation
- Draft high-quality correspondence, briefing notes, reports and presentations
- Support internal and external stakeholder engagement with professionalism and discretion
- Coordinate service requests and assist with project-related administrative tasks
- Maintain and improve office systems, records and databases
- Provide front-line customer service support including call handling and visitor reception
- Work independently and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Proven experience in an Executive Assistant or high-level administration role within a complex organisation – local government or state government experience
- Confident in stakeholder engagement, project coordination and administrative support
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft complex documentation
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Advanced computer skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong organisational and time management abilities, with a flexible and solution-focused mindset
- A passion for supporting community outcomes and contributing to positive, inclusive environments
- 3-month temporary contract with potential to extend
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
