The Role
- Supervise daily bulk excavation and earthworks operations
- Coordinate crews, subcontractors, operators and plant
- Drive programme, productivity and site performance
- Ensure works are completed safely and to specification
- Manage pre-starts, toolbox talks and daily reporting
- Liaise with engineers, project managers and site teams
- Oversee compliance, QA and environmental requirements
- Assist with planning and sequencing of works onsite
- Proven experience supervising bulk earthworks or excavation projects
- Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies
- Experience working around deep excavations, retention or foundation works highly regarded
- Ability to lead crews and subcontractors effectively
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to read and interpret plans and project documentation
- Current Driver’s Licence and relevant tickets
