EDRMS Administrator – 6 Month Contract

We’re working with a local council seeking an experienced EDRMS Administrator
to join the team on a 6-month contract.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing and supporting the use of OpenText Content Manager, ensuring the security and integrity of Council records in line with the State Records Act and relevant guidelines.
You’ll work closely with teams across the organisation to promote consistent, efficient, and compliant records management practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Council’s Electronic Document and Records Management System (OpenText Content Manager)
- Support the capture, access, sentencing, disposal, and archiving of Council records
- Review and improve records management processes and business rules
- Provide advice, training, and resources to support good records practices
- Set up and coordinate EDRMS 'super users' across Council business units
- Monitor compliance and system usage, identifying areas for improvement
- Liaise with external providers for system enhancements and issue resolution
- Contribute to a collaborative, ethical, and professional team environment
- Relevant qualifications and/or proven experience in EDRMS administration
- Strong understanding of records management principles and compliance requirements
- Experience with OpenText Content Manager (or a similar system)
- Excellent communication and training skills
