About the company:
Join a well established Electrical Contractor based in the Western suburbs of Sydney. They specialise in electrical building services D&C projects and have a great reputation in the industry. Due to team growth of the back of continuous project wins they are looking to add an experienced Electrical BIM Lead
to their growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Create 3D electrical models in Revit, based on project specifications and design documents.
- Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines using Navisworks, Revizto, and BIM 360.
- Provide training and support on BIM modelling best practices.
- Manage model updates, and documentation on BIM360
- Communicate effectively with clients on a technical level
- Explore and implement innovations for process optimization in BIM workflows.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to electrical systems and BIM practices
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or in relevant field
- Ideally 3-4 years electrical services modeling & coordinating experience
- Exposure to commercial buildings, hospital or education projects
- Understanding of electrical design coordination and modeling for installation purposes
- Eagerness to develop skills and take on more responsibility
- Strong skills with Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, BIM 360
- Experience with Drofus not essential but beneficial if so
