Electrical Field Supervisor
Location: Sydney (preferred) or Melbourne
Salary: $150k – $160k base + super + 10% bonus + vehicle allowance
Overview
We are working with a leading energy business who are scaling their behind the meter operations across residential solar and battery installations nationally.
As part of this growth, they are looking to appoint a Field Supervisor / Technical SME to provide technical oversight across subcontracted installers and support internal teams.
This is a hands on, field focused role acting as the bridge between site and office, ensuring installations are delivered safely, compliantly and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee installation quality, safety and compliance across a national subcontractor network
• Carry out site inspections, audits and technical assessments
• Act as the technical point of contact between field teams and internal stakeholders
• Support design and coordination teams by validating real world install feasibility
• Troubleshoot technical issues and support aftersales where required
• Provide guidance to subcontractors to improve standards and performance
• Support grid connection and compliance processes where required
• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies
About You
• Qualified electrician
• SAA accreditation across solar and battery
• Strong hands on installation experience (essential)
• Experience as a leading hand, supervisor or stepping up into a similar role
• Strong understanding of solar PV and battery systems
• Ability to assess installs on site and confidently engage with subcontractors
• Practical problem solver with strong attention to detail
• Motivated by the industry and looking to step into a more senior technical role
Important to Note
• This is not a purely office based or engineering role
• This is not a high level management role removed from the detail
• You will be expected to remain close to the tools and field activity
• The role is predominantly field based, roughly 70% site based with flexibility week to week
• Open to candidates coming straight off the tools with the right mindset
