A leading international manufacturer is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter to join their team at a state-of-the-art facility located in Liverpool. This is a full-time, Afternoon shift position (2pm-11pm) running Monday to Friday, with unlimited overtime available.

The Role As an Electrical Fitter, you’ll play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving automated electrical systems and equipment within a fast-paced, high-technology environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on electrical and control systems across automated equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on conveyors, motors, sensors, PLC-controlled systems, and other plant machinery.
- Assist with the installation, wiring, and commissioning of new equipment and system upgrades.
- Conduct electrical safety testing and inspections in accordance with relevant standards.
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance documentation.
- Work collaboratively with mechanical and automation teams to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.
- Comply with all electrical safety regulations and company quality standards.
- Trade qualified Electrical Fitter / Electrician (Cert III or equivalent).
- Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing, automation, or industrial maintenance environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, and fault-finding techniques.
- Experience working with PLC-based systems, VSDs, and instrumentation (advantageous).
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- $64 per hour + superannuation.
