to deliver critical maintenance and upgrade projects across water infrastructure networks.
About the Role
We’re seeking a hands-on and motivated Electrical Leading Hand to oversee and support the delivery of electrical, control, and systems maintenance and upgrades
across water treatment plants, pump stations, and associated assets.
You’ll play a key role in planning, coordination, and supervision, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
What You’ll Do
- As the Electrical Leading Hand you'll Lead a team of electricians and trades in the field
- The Electrical Leading Hand you'll perform and oversee electrical maintenance, upgrades, and fault-finding activities
- The Electrical Leading Hand will assist with planning, estimating, and subcontractor engagement
- As the Electrical Leading Hand you'll Ensure compliance with all electrical and safety standards
- The Electrical Leading Hand will promote and drive continuous HSE improvement across all works
- This Electrical Leading Hand will liaise with clients, engineers, and project managers to meet delivery goals
- Trade qualification as an Electrician(current electrical licence required)
- Strong experience in water or utilities infrastructure(highly regarded)
- Proven leadership and team coordination skills
- Sound knowledge of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Current driver’s licence and White Card
- $55–$65 per hour, depending on experience
- Plenty of overtime available
