The Opportunity We’re partnering with a growing Australian manufacturing business that is investing heavily in its operations and infrastructure. With a strong pipeline of capital works underway, they are looking to appoint an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead delivery across multiple sites in NSW.
This is a high-impact role suited to someone who enjoys working in fast-paced production environments and taking full ownership of projects from early concept through to operational handover.
The Role You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of capital projects, primarily within live manufacturing environments where coordination, planning, and stakeholder engagement are critical.
Projects will vary in scope and complexity, ranging from equipment upgrades through to larger site improvements and new line installations. You’ll work closely with site leadership teams to ensure delivery aligns with operational priorities while maintaining safety, quality, and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of engineering projects, from initial scoping through to commissioning
- Deliver works within active production environments, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
- Coordinate internal stakeholders, contractors, and equipment suppliers
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and risks to ensure successful outcomes
- Support integration of new equipment and processes into existing operations
- Drive continuous improvement across project delivery and site capability
- Provide guidance and support to junior members of the engineering team
You’ll bring:
- A background in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline)
- Demonstrated experience managing projects in FMCG, food, or regulated manufacturing
- Confidence working within live production environments and navigating operational constraints
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
