The Opportunity:
This role plays a pivotal part in the accurate costing and financial management of high‑end custom residential projects. You will collaborate closely with internal designers, consultants, and construction teams to ensure every project is costed with precision while maintaining the design integrity and premium standards the builder is known for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed BOQs, cost plans, and full‑scope estimates for custom luxury homes
- Manage pricing, tendering, and supplier/trade negotiations
- Provide cost advice throughout design development and pre‑construction
- Review drawings, engineering, and specification documentation for accuracy and cost implications
- Maintain and update cost databases, supplier relationships, and trade rates
- Support value‑engineering initiatives without compromising quality
- Identify risks, discrepancies, and opportunities to optimise project costs
- Significant estimating experience within residential construction (custom or luxury home experience highly regarded)
- Strong understanding of WA construction methodology, materials, and building standards
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commercial awareness
- Proficiency with estimating software
- Confident communicator with the ability to collaborate across design, technical, and delivery teams
- Passionate about high‑quality building outcomes and continuous improvement
- Up to $130k + Super
