- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for tenders and proposals.
- Review drawings, specifications and project documentation to determine project scope, materials and resources required.
- Obtain, review and assess subcontractor and supplier pricing to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
- Coordinate tender submissions and contribute to bid strategy discussions.
- Identify potential cost risks, savings and value engineering opportunities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market rates, materials, subcontractor pricing and construction trends.
- Collaborate with project delivery and commercial teams to align estimates with project objectives and budgets.
- Ensure tenders are prepared and submitted accurately and within required timeframes.
- Have a minimum of five years' post-graduate experience as an Estimator.
- Have proven estimating experience within the commercial construction sector.
- Have experience pricing commercial construction projects, ideally valued up to $50 million.
- Possess strong cost planning, estimating and commercial awareness.
- Be confident liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers and other project stakeholders.
- Have excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tenders to strict deadlines.
- Be a strong communicator with excellent attention to detail.
