About the Role
As an Estimator, you will play a key part in shaping project outcomes by preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates across a variety of commercial fit-out and construction projects. You’ll collaborate closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure competitive pricing and clear project scopes. Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret architectural drawings, design documentation, and site conditions
- Prepare detailed estimates and cost plans across all trade packages
- Conduct site visits, measurements, and assessments as required
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
- Analyse quotes, evaluate trade coverage, and compile tender submissions
- Work collaboratively with Project Managers, Designers, and Senior Leadership during tender handovers
- Manage multiple projects concurrently and meet strict tender deadlines
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and trade partners
- Experience in estimating within commercial construction or fit-out (1–3+ years ideal)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret drawings and technical documents
- Confident communicator with sound supplier/subcontractor relationship skills
- Ability to manage multiple tenders at once and work to tight timelines
- Proficient with estimating software (Procore, 1 Breadcrumb, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office)
