An award winning, design led builder is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their Perth team. With a strong pipeline of luxury homes and boutique apartments ranging from $4M to $10M, this is a rare opportunity to work on some of the city’s most prestigious projects
This is a predominantly estimating focused role, with exposure to scheduling and pre-construction planning. Working closely with the inhouse design and project teams, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate and detailed cost plans that support high quality project outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Full scope estimating from concept through to contract
- Preparing detailed BOQs, tender packages and trade comparisons
- Liaising with architects, consultants, and internal teams
- Reviewing and negotiating trade pricing and supplier quotes
- Supporting early stage scheduling and procurement planning
- Assisting with value management and cost saving strategies
- Previous experience estimating high end residential or apartment projects
- A solid understanding of construction techniques, finishes, and market rates
- Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
- Experience with estimating software (e.g. Truth Engine or similar)
- Exposure to scheduling or construction planning is desirable
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
