About the Role
Reporting directly to the owner, you will work side-by-side to support estimating, sales, and operational processes. The owner is currently managing these functions independently, so this role will be instrumental in helping drive efficiency and growth within the business.
This position also offers a clear pathway into a Junior Office Manager role over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing accurate cost estimates from drawings and specifications
- Reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and elevations
- Completing detailed take-offs without reliance on spreadsheets or catalogues
- Managing sales and production estimating from initial stages
- Applying formulas and equations for accurate calculations
- Supporting broader operational tasks as required
- Proven experience using Databuild and PlanSwift(essential)
- Strong ability to interpret construction drawings and documentation
- Sound mathematical and analytical skills, including manual calculations
- Background in volume building and/or townhouse projects(preferred)
- Understanding of cladding systems and roofing (volume areas)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Driven, reliable, and confident in your abilities
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
