Estimator
I am currently partnering with a well-established commercial builder in Brisbane seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing team.
With a strong pipeline of upcoming projects across commercial, education, industrial, health and mixed-use sectors, this is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable business known for delivering quality projects and maintaining strong client relationships.
You will be working closely with the Pre-Construction and Delivery teams, and will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions across a diverse range of commercial construction projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender pricing
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and project documentation
- Conducting quantity take-offs and subcontractor analysis
- Managing subcontractor and supplier pricing submissions
- Identifying project risks and value engineering opportunities
- Assisting with tender presentations and bid submissions
- Collaborating with internal project teams throughout pre-construction
- Previous experience as an Estimator within commercial construction
- Strong understanding of local subcontractor and supplier markets
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Relevant construction qualifications preferred
