Public Sector People are partnering with a local government organisation to recruit for an Executive Assistant.
Contract: 3 months | Immediate Start
Hourly Pay Rate: $45-$50 p/h + Super
Responsibilities:
- Prepare reports, correspondence, agendas, and meeting minutes with accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide high-level secretarial support, including managing the Director’s calendar and scheduling.
- Coordinate and organise meetings, events, and appointments as required.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for enquiries from residents and stakeholders via phone, email, and written correspondence.
- Respond promptly and accurately, providing clear information and appropriate guidance.
Essential:
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality administrative support at a senior level, with strong attention to detail
- Advanced computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with well-developed interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated experience managing sensitive matters with discretion and confidentiality
- Certificate III in Business Administration or higher
- Previous local government council experience
