Public Sector People are partnering with the Anglican Diocese of Perth to appoint an Executive Assistant to support the Diocesan Secretary and Executive Officer (Chief Executive Officer) and coordinate the day-to-day administrative operations of the Diocesan Office.
This is a hands-on, high-trust role within a respected faith-based organisation operating across parishes, clergy and corporate activities affiliated entities throughout Western Australia.
The Organisation
The Anglican Diocese of Perth supports a diverse network of parishes and church communities. The Diocesan Office plays a central role in coordinating governance, administration, service delivery and communication across the organisation.

About the Role
Reporting to the Diocesan Secretary and Executive Officer, the Executive Assistant will play a central role in:
- Providing high-level executive support including diary, correspondence and coordination
- Managing and coordinating meetings, including preparation of agendas, papers and minutes
- Supporting the delivery of committee and board-related administrative processes
- Maintaining document management systems across CRM and SharePoint
- Coordinating office administration and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
- Supervising and supporting a small administration team
About You
We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant who is:
- Experienced supporting senior leaders in a complex environment
- Comfortable coordinating meetings and preparing high-quality documentation
- Confident managing or overseeing administrative staff
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Detail-oriented, particularly in written communication and document presentation
- A strong communicator, able to engage across diverse stakeholders
- Proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused
This role will suit someone who enjoys being at the centre of operations, ensuring things run smoothly and efficiently. It is not a role for someone seeking purely strategic work, it requires a hands-on, delivery-focused approach. An appreciation for working within a values-based organisation will be important.
An understanding of, or comfort working within, a values-based organisation with a diversity of views will be important.
Working Environment
The Diocese is predominantly office-based in Perth CBD, with flexibility available where appropriate. The role is full-time, with standard business hours and minimal after-hours requirements.
Remuneration is anticipated to be in the range of $114,000-$120,000 + superannuation.
