Join the Tree Services team undertaking tree maintenance and removal across the Redland City Council region. This is a ground-based role involving the safe operation of EWPs, chainsaws and pole saws. Tree climbing is not required, making this an excellent opportunity for a tree climber, EWP operator or groundsperson seeking improved work-life balance.
Duties include:
- Tree trimming and tree removal
- Operating EWPs, chainsaws and pole saws
- Assisting with tree maintenance works
- Working safely in accordance with Council procedures and Australian Standards
You must hold one of the following qualifications:
- Certificate III in Horticulture (or equivalent)
- Certificate III in Arboriculture
- Certificate in Landscape Construction (including Playground Inspector Level 2)
- Certificate in Conservation & Land Management, Fire Management, or equivalent
- Chainsaw Level 1 & 2
- EWP Ticket
- MR Driver's Licence
- Knowledge of AS4373-2007 Pruning of Amenity Trees
- Experience in tree maintenance or vegetation management
- Your updated CV (please list all relevant tickets and licences)
