About the role:
You’ll be an integral member of the Financial Accounting team, supporting a broad range of functions including:
- Preparation of General and Special Purpose Financial Reports
- Balance sheet and ledger reconciliations (including audit support)
- Fixed assets accounting and reporting
- Investment and cash flow management support
- Taxation returns and statutory reporting compliance
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Identifying efficiencies and contributing to process improvements
About you:
We’re looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
- 3+ years’ experience in a financial accounting role
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (CA/CPA qualified or near completion)
- Strong technical accounting skills and systems experience
- Advanced Excel capability
- Local Government experience
- TechnologyOne ERP experience
- Experience with investments, internal controls, and financial reporting
