This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Finishes Foreman with a strong background in commercial apartment construction, particularly across the final stages of fit-out and finishes.
Working as part of the site team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising finishing trades and ensuring works are delivered to a high standard, on programme and in line with project requirements.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and coordinating finishing trades across the project
- Managing apartment fit-out and finishing works through to completion
- Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are progressing to programme
- Monitoring quality, workmanship and site presentation
- Conducting inspections and managing defects and rectification works
- Coordinating trades and sequencing works to maintain programme
- Working closely with the Site Manager and wider project team
- Ensuring WHS, quality and project standards are maintained
- Proven experience as a Finishes Foreman on commercial apartment projects
- Strong knowledge of apartment fit-out and finishing works
- Experience coordinating multiple finishing trades and subcontractors
- A strong understanding of construction sequencing and programme requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control
- The ability to confidently manage trades and drive programme
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Relevant Australian construction experience
