The Opportunity
This business are seeking an experienced and detail focused Site Foreperson to join their expanding Byron Bay team, working on an ultra-high-end hospitality fit-out project.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a premium project with an emphasis on refined detail and finish quality. You’ll be supported by a highly experienced and hands on leadership team who foster clear communication and on-site autonomy.
The Role
Working closely with the Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing all on-site construction activities to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to specification
- Coordinating trades, subcontractors, deliveries and site logistics
- Maintaining strict adherence to build quality and architectural detail
- Enforcing HSEQ compliance and fostering a safe, productive site culture
- Conducting daily site inspections, toolbox talks and subcontractor meetings
- Liaising with consultants, suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve design and buildability issues
- Contributing to look-ahead programs and reporting on site progress
- Trade background in carpentry or equivalent, with solid technical knowledge
- 5+ years of experience in a Foreperson/Site Manager role on ultra-high-end commercial or hospitality fit-outs
- Proven ability to manage tight programs, intricate finishes and coordination-heavy sites
- A calm, solution-focused communicator who can lead from the front
- Strong understanding of OHS legislation and construction methodologies
- Eye for quality and the confidence to uphold high standards across all trades
- Salary package of up to $190,000 depending on experience
