The Role
Reporting directly to the business owners, the General Manager will take responsibility for overall business performance, sales growth, team leadership, and operational delivery.
This role requires someone who can confidently move between strategic planning and day-to-day leadership. You'll be equally comfortable building client relationships, developing business opportunities, coaching managers and team members, monitoring operational performance, and ensuring projects and service delivery remain on track.
Success in this role will come from your ability to inspire people, drive commercial outcomes, create accountability, and maintain a strong customer focus.

You may currently be working as a Service Manager, Operations Manager, Business Manager, or Sales & Operations Leader and are ready to step into a broader leadership role with greater influence and responsibility.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience leading teams, business units, or service operations.
- Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong personal sales capability and a proven record of achieving sales targets.
- Experience managing operational delivery and business performance.
- Ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and commercial outcomes.
- Strong client relationship management and business development skills.
- Strategic and commercially focused mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Sound understanding of the HVAC, air conditioning, mechanical services, or related building services industry.
Highly Desirable
- Current or recent experience in a Service Manager position.
- Experience using Uptick or similar field service management software.
- Demonstrated success building positive, high-performing workplace cultures.
- Experience within mechanical services, refrigeration, electrical, fire protection, plumbing, or other field-service environments.
