Public Sector People is looking for a proactive and skilled Grants Officer
to join a local government organisation in Sydney. You will lead the identification, management, and acquittal of grant funding opportunities that align with Council’s strategic goals.
In this role, you’ll support teams across Council with expert advice, develop policies and frameworks for grants management, and liaise with government and external partners to deliver high-quality, funded initiatives.
You'll also support the progression of effective grants management through the provision of advice, support, expertise and skills to Council staff
This is a 3-month contract, due to start ASAP - ideally this week.
What you’ll need:
- Experience managing grants and reporting
- Corporate planning experience advantageous
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to develop policies and process improvements
- Financial acumen and project support experience
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Previous experience with TechOne, Content Manager/TRIM, Authority or Pathway highly regarded
