Hard Services Coordinator – Pharmaceutical Facilities (GMP Environment)

Global pharmaceutical organisation seeking a Hard Services Coordinator to support site-based engineering and facilities operations within a regulated GMP manufacturing environment.


This role sits within the building services / engineering function and is responsible for coordination and governance of planned and reactive maintenance activities across critical utilities and infrastructure.


Strong focus on compliance, documentation control, SAP work order management, and audit readiness within a highly regulated environment.


This is not a hands-on technical role. Position is centred around coordination, vendor management, systems control and maintenance oversight.


Key responsibilities:

  • Coordination of planned and reactive maintenance across GMP-regulated facilities (HVAC, WFI, utilities, clean services)
  • Management and review of SAP maintenance work orders and associated documentation
  • Liaison with FM provider, contractors and internal engineering teams to ensure compliant delivery of services
  • Support audit readiness through accurate record keeping and identification of compliance gaps
  • Escalation and resolution of maintenance and service delivery issues
  • Contribution to continuous improvement of maintenance processes and systems governance
Requirements:
  • Background in facilities, building services or maintenance within pharmaceutical or other regulated GMP environments
  • Strong understanding of HVAC and critical utilities
  • SAP or CMMS experience essential
  • Experience working within GMP, TGA or similar regulated frameworks
  • Strong understanding of maintenance compliance, documentation and audit processes
  • Confident communicator with strong coordination and stakeholder management capability
