Our client is looking for a strong hospitality focused Interior Designer client facing Interior Designer with a passion for Hospitality projects
Are you a passionate Interior Designer with a love for hospitality projects and a knack for client engagement? Do you enjoy the front end process and concept design, have at least 5 years experience, and can hit the ground running on large scale projects valued around $5-6mil? Join a design-focused studio in Melbourne, where you'll play a key role in crafting exceptional hospitality interiors. You’ll be involved in everything from concept development to client presentations, contributing to projects as part of the design team.
What You’ll Be Doing
✔️ Concept design development and project briefs
✔️ Overseeing design and documentation in Revit
✔️ Collaborating with clients and consultants for seamless project delivery
✔️ Providing mentorship and guidance to junior designers
✔️ Assisting with contract administration alongside a Project Leader
✔️ Selecting furniture and finishes that elevate interior aesthetics
✔️ Ensuring designs meet building codes and regulations
What You’ll Bring
✅ 5–10 years of interior design experience
✅ Proven experience in hospitality projects. Largely working on hotels, country clubs, RSLs and bars.
✅ Strong Revit skills
✅ A confident, client-facing approach with excellent communication
✅ Experience mentoring junior team members
✅ Strong time management
✅ A collaborative mindset and ability to coordinate with consultants
