Contract: 6 months | Immediate Start
Hourly Pay Rate: $45 - $52 p/h + Super
Responsibilities:
- Provide end to end system support for recruitment to ensure smooth and compliant onboarding.
- Assist managers and staff with timecards, leave, schedules, and system queries.
- Oversee fortnightly payroll, resolve timecard and system issues, and escalate as needed to ensure accurate, timely payments.
- Act as first point of contact for HR, Award, and payroll enquiries, resolving or escalating for efficient outcomes.
- Interpret Awards and provide advice on employment conditions, escalating complex queries when required.
- Generate and analyse HR reports to support proactive workforce management.
- Maintain accurate employee records and provide general HR administrative support.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance HR services and employee experience.
Essential:
- 2+ years experience in an administration support role within local government or working in a politically sensitive environment
- Qualification is Human Resources - Desirable
- Previous experience with TechOne, Content Manager/TRIM, Authority or Pathway highly regarded
