t is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking People Business Partner
for a 7-month contract
to join their collaborative People and Capability team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting leaders and shaping workforce solutions that enhance organisational capability and employee experience.
You will work in genuine partnership with a broad range of stakeholders, delivering practical advice across all areas of human resources while supporting the implementation of key people initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with managers to deliver HR solutions aligned with business priorities.
- Provide expert advice on employee relations, policy interpretation, performance, and workforce planning.
- Lead and support the delivery of initiatives to drive engagement, wellbeing, and capability.
- Use workforce data and insights to support effective decision-making.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in HR processes, systems, and service delivery.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated HR experience, ideally within local government or a similarly complex environment.
- Strong working knowledge of industrial instruments, legislation, and HR best practice.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Solutions-focused, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
- Local Council, Public sector Health Industry experience essential
