About the Role Reporting to the Manager Human Resources, you will partner with leaders across the organisation to provide expert advice across the full employee lifecycle. You'll play a key role in supporting organisational change, managing complex employee relations matters, reviewing policies and procedures, and delivering strategic HR projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide trusted HR advice across the full employee lifecycle.
- Coach and support managers on employee and industrial relations matters.
- Interpret employment legislation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- Manage complex employee relations, investigations and performance matters.
- Develop, review and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Support workforce planning, recruitment and organisational development initiatives.
- Deliver HR projects including employee engagement, reporting and system improvements.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in a HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor position.
- Strong employee and industrial relations experience.
- Sound knowledge of the Fair Work Act, Awards, Enterprise Agreements and employment legislation.
- Experience developing HR policies and procedures.
- The ability to influence, coach and build trusted relationships with leaders.
- Strong project management, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Previous experience within Local Government, State Government, Community Health or another unionised environment will be highly regarded.
