Join an award winning industrial and commercial builder company renowned for delivering complex and high-quality projects. Our client specialises in large-scale commercial buildings, such as warehouses, storage facilities, workshops and offices etc. with projects commencing across WA.

This is a critical position for our client so they will be interviewing straight away.

Role Overview:

With a project due to start soon, our client require an experienced HSE Advisor. We are looking for a HSE Advisor with experience in the construction of commercial buildings.

You will play a critical role in ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are upheld on-site. You will oversee safety practices across various subcontractors and manage all phases of construction projects. This is a dynamic role requiring a proactive approach, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures on-site.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors (electrical, plumbing, etc.) to ensure adherence to safety practices and standards.
  • Manage safety protocols across different phases of construction, from project initiation through to completion.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance site safety.
Experience:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety (Degree, Diploma or Cert 4)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage health, safety, and environmental practices across a project from start to finish.
  • Experience dealing with multiple subcontractors and coordinating safety efforts across various trades (electrical, plumbing, etc.).
  • Valid Drivers Licence and First Aid Cert
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with site personnel and subcontractors.
  • Working at Heights & White Card - Essential
  • Tilt up panel construction experience – Advantageous
