Our client is a leading construction company committed to delivering exceptional projects across the Metro Perth region. With a strong focus on safety, quality, and sustainability, they pride themselves on fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and proactive HSE Officer to support the HSE Manager and work closely with site managers to promote a safe and compliant working environment across their sites.

The role also includes incident reporting and investigation, risk assessments, PPE management, HSE documentation maintenance, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting in HSE Compliance & Risk Management.
  • Travelling across our clients sites and providing Subcontractor & Site Support
  • Ensure overall compliance with HSE regulations, conduct regular site inspections, identify and mitigate hazards, implement risk controls, and support incident reporting and investigations.
  • Deliver site and new employee inductions, assist in developing and support subcontractors with safety documentation and training.
  • Assist Site Managers with subcontractor compliance, site presentation standards, and maintain adequate PPE supplies.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HSE systems, manage HSE documentation, support HSE software integration, and assist in producing reports and communications.
  • Promote ongoing improvements in safety processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Minimum Cert IV WHS or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the commercial construction experience – Essential
  • Strong knowledge of Australian HSE regulations and standards.
  • Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence all levels of the organization.
  • Current driver's license and willingness to travel to various sites within the Metro Perth region.
