Design and Build are currently partnering with a leading tier 2 commercial industrial builder who is seeking a proactive HSEQ Operational Lead to join their team in Brisbane.
About the Role:
- Lead internal and external audits, investigations, and incident reviews to promote ongoing safety improvements.
- Support operational teams in conducting site inspections and peer audits to ensure consistent safety standards are upheld.
- Assist in developing and maintaining a legal compliance register, managing action items and reporting requirements, and supporting adherence to relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with HSEQ system coordinators to prepare detailed internal safety reports.
- Experience with systems like Procore and 1Breadcrumb.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in a similar HSEQ role within commercial or industrial construction.
- Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).
- Willingness to undertake regular interstate travel.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
