Reporting directly to the General Manager, this is a senior leadership role responsible for driving WHS, quality, environmental, and training outcomes across multiple civil infrastructure projects.
The Role
- Roving position across multiple civil construction projects in SEQ
- Ensure compliance with relevant WHS legislation, regulations, and company standards
- Produce site-specific safety and environmental management plans as required
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and reporting on HSEQ performance
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Monitor and report on HSEQ KPIs, trends, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead safety committee meetings and provide technical HSEQ advice to site and project teams
- Engage with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders across all levels
- Minimum 10 years’ experience within the construction industry (civil experience highly regarded)
- Formal WHS qualifications
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and modern civil practices
- Proven ability to manage systems, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong leadership capability with experience mentoring and influencing teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office and reporting capability
