The builder
Working in Sydney's Shire, the builder focuses on projects in the industrial sector, working on complex builds for national clients.
The role
Working as part of the site team the HSR labourer will manage all aspects of safety on site including:
- 30% Safety - 70% Labour
- Inductions of plant/personnel (Utilizing Hammertech)
- SWMS reviews
- Site walks, hazard ID and rectification
- Reporting to site manager and HSE advisor on safety on site
- Working with site manager to manage trades, form working relationships and coach/mentor workers on HSE
- Ad hoc labouring as required to keep site tidy & safe
- Leading hand duties as required to direct labourers
EBA based rates - Hourly rate + Overtime - Plenty of hours available
Monday to Saturday based role
Experience required
- 2+ years in commercial construction as a Safety officer/Safety Labourer
- Cert IV OHS preferred
- Trade background preferred
- Additional construction high risk tickets highly advantageous.
- Must have full working rights in Australia
