HV Electrical Technician – Electrical Energy Systems | Multiple Sites, Australia
We are partnering with a leading energy company to recruit a hands-on Electrical Technician
to join their team, working across various sites nationally. This role is key to ensuring the operation, maintenance, and performance of electrical energy assets, while providing technical support, assisting with system analysis, and contributing to new site development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical energy systems.
- Assist with installation, commissioning, and integration of new equipment.
- Conduct testing and inspections to ensure compliance and optimal performance.
- Provide technical support to team members and clients.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and part usage.
- Follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders across projects.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical or energy systems.
- Australian Electrical License (state-specific preferred).
- HV Switching Ticket is highly desirable.
- Strong technical skills in fault diagnosis and problem-solving.
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and civil components in renewable energy systems.
- Ability to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant technical certifications or diploma in renewable energy or a related field.
- Full-time position with national travel across renewable energy sites.
