About the company:
A leading HVAC contractor based in Sydney's Northern Suburbs, specializing in D&C HVAC projects across a variety of sectors. They have recently picked up new government, train station, and mixed use development projects valued at around $2m each, with potential data centre projects in the pipeline. They are looking for an experienced mechanical project engineer to assist with the delivery of these key projects.
What your day looks like:
- Reviewing HVAC designs and coordinating consultant input
- Managing procurement and working closely with suppliers and subcontractors
- Handling project documentation, cost control and resource planning
- Leading communication with vendors, clients, and internal teams
- Taking accountability for timelines, coordination and smooth delivery
- Mechanical engineering degree with 3+ years Australian construction experience
- Strong HVAC background with solid practical understanding (not just academic)
- Experience in design review, procurement, and project coordination
- Excellent time management, cost tracking and documentation skills
- Confident dealing with vendors, clients, and consultants
- Able to work independently and manage multiple jobs concurrently
- Class 2 Building Practitioner (or working towards) is highly regarded
- Remuneration up to $140k plus super based on skills, experience, and qualifications
