I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join one of Sydney's leading Tier 1 HVAC contractors. With a strong reputation for delivering complex mechanical services projects, this business has secured multiple large-scale data centre developments across Western Sydney, with an extensive pipeline of future work already locked in.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer looking to build their career on some of Australia's most technically challenging and high-profile projects. You'll work alongside an experienced project team, gaining exposure to every stage of delivery, from site engineering through to commissioning.
The Role
As a Site Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of major mechanical services projects by:
- Supporting the project team with day-to-day site engineering and commissioning activities.
- Preparing technical documentation, reports and project records.
- Carrying out QA/QC inspections to ensure works meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Attending coordination and client meetings while working closely with subcontractors and site teams.
- Identifying, resolving and escalating on-site technical issues to keep projects on track.
- Degree qualified Mechanical Engineer with experience delivering HVAC/mechanical services projects.
- Previous experience working on data centres, hospitals, major commercial, retail or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, installation methodologies and commissioning processes.
- Experience carrying out QA/QC inspections, site coordination and technical documentation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across project teams.
- Up to $140k + Super, depending on experience.
