Public Sector People are seeking an experienced Stream Lead – Information Architecture & Solution Readiness to lead a critical workstream within the Council's Asset Management Program.
  
Based in Maroochydore and reporting to the IT Project Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring that information architecture, data governance, integrations, and solution readiness activities are successfully delivered in line with program objectives, governance requirements, and implementation timelines.
  
The successful candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and project governance groups, ensuring that systems, data, processes, and integrations are ready to support the future-state asset management environment.

Job Requirements
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Information Architecture & Solution Readiness stream of the Asset Management Program.
  • Develop, maintain and deliver integrated project plans and implementation activities.
  • Manage project schedules, risks, issues, dependencies, resources and critical path activities.
  • Coordinate integration activities across enterprise systems, business units, vendors and technical teams.
  • Oversee requirements gathering, testing, implementation readiness and solution deployment activities.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement, communication and change management initiatives.
  • Build strong working relationships across business, technology and vendor stakeholders.
  • Prepare governance reports, presentations, decision papers and recommendations.
  • Manage vendor performance, contractual deliverables and procurement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, legislation, audit requirements and Council policies.
  
  
Essential Experience & Skills
  • Proven experience delivering complex IT, digital transformation or business transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of information architecture, data governance and information management principles.
  • Experience managing enterprise systems, integrations, data-focused initiatives or large-scale technology programs.
  • Excellent project management, organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, influencing and negotiation capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively across executive, operational and technical stakeholder groups.
  • Relevant qualifications in Information Technology, Project Management or equivalent professional experience.
  • Current C Class Driver's Licence.

  • Asset Management systems implementation or optimisation.

  • Business intelligence, analytics and reporting solutions.
  • Large-scale organisational transformation programs.
  • Local government, utilities, infrastructure or asset-intensive environments.
  
Preferred Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in Asset Management, Engineering, Information Systems, GIS, Data Management, Business Analysis, Information Management or a related discipline.
  • Experience with Power BI, advanced Excel, GIS tools and data analysis platforms.
