The Role
Working closely with Senior Project Managers and site-based teams, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of commercial construction projects from planning through to completion.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the management and delivery of commercial construction projects
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and project stakeholders
- Monitoring project programmes, budgets, procurement, and project documentation
- Supporting contract administration and cost control processes
- Managing RFIs, variations, progress claims, and project reporting
- Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and project management systems
- Attending site meetings and assisting with project delivery activities
- Building strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
- 1-3 years' experience in commercial construction as a Project Coordinator, Contract Administrator, Site Engineer, Project Engineer, or similar
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Building, or a related discipline
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive attitude and genuine desire to build a long-term career in project management
- Experience working on commercial, fit-out, refurbishment, education, health, government, or mixed-use projects will be highly regarded
