This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the commercial construction sector who is looking to take the next step into a site leadership position. You will work closely with experienced Site Managers, gaining valuable mentorship and exposure across a range of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
The role will commence on a contract basis with the intention of transitioning into a permanent position for the right candidate.
The Role
- Assist in the day-to-day supervision and coordination of site activities
- Work closely with the Site Manager to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard
- Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and site logistics
- Monitor site safety and quality standards
- Assist with project programming and reporting
- Maintain strong communication with subcontractors and project stakeholders
- Previous experience working on commercial construction, fit-out, or refurbishment projects
- Some experience supervising trades, subcontractors, or site activities
- Experience as a Leading Hand, Junior Foreman, Site Supervisor, or similar role is highly regarded
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment
- Trade qualification preferred but not essential
