The Role
You will be based on a luxury residential development on the Sunshine Coast, working alongside an experienced project and HSE team.
This role will provide excellent exposure to all areas of site safety while giving you the opportunity to develop your skills and build a long-term career within a major national builder.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with site inspections, audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Support site inductions, toolbox talks and safety training.
- Assist with the implementation and ongoing improvement of WHS systems and procedures.
- Work closely with subcontractors and the project team to promote positive safety outcomes.
- Assist with ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, company standards and project requirements.
- Develop your understanding of high-risk construction activities and safety processes.
- Cert IV in Work Health & Safety is required.
- Ideally some experience in a Safety/HSE role, however candidates at the beginning of their Safety career will be considered.
- Open to candidates transitioning from a trade background into Safety.
- Previous construction experience is highly regarded.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
