The Role
- Provide site-based safety support on a circa $130 million education project
- Partner closely with project teams, subcontractors, and senior management to drive positive safety outcomes
- Conduct site inspections, audits, investigations, and risk assessments
- Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training
- Assist in maintaining compliance with WHS legislation, project requirements, and company procedures
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of site safety systems
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Safety Advisor role within construction
- Experience reviewing Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and Safe Systems of Work
- Previous exposure to new build construction projects is highly regarded
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation and contractor management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong organisational, administrative, and time management abilities
